I always play my guitar at night. Jimi Hendrix is one of my all-time favorite guitar players. I was playing a Hendrix CD and it started skipping. I took it out, cleaned it, put it back in, and it still skipped. Same skip, over and over. I took the skip and turned it into a song hook. I added a few soft words about a woman I used to know, and out came ‘Next to You.’--Johnny
